Ø          Output when iButton attach:
[LCtrl-A key] [ASCII (||||||)] <8Bytes iButton ID or last 4Bytes iButton ID> [ASCII (`)] [Enter key][LCtrl-Z key] [Long beep sound 580us]

Ø          Output when iButton remove:
[ASCII (||||||`)] [Enter key]

 

RS-232 interface iButton Reader output format:

Ø          Output when iButton attach:

iButton ID definition:

Byte[7] for CRC code

Byte[6~1] for serial number

Byte[0] for iButton Family Code

For Use with ICR Touch / encomPOS - most sucessful configuration is :-

 

SW1 - OFF - Don't send Ctrl A/Z

SW2 - OFF - Send All Bytes

SW3 - OFF - Send Pre/Post Amble

SW4 - ON   - Send Enter Key at end of read

SW5 - OFF - Keyboard Interface for MSR

SW6 - OFF - Reserved

SW7 - OFF - KB Wedge for MSR TX

SW8 - OFF - KB Wedge for MSR RX
