  1. Setting up YesPay Before you get started on these instructions you need to make sure you have: Set up your merchant account with your bank. Recieved the confirmation from YesPay that your application is complete and that you are ready to install and configure YesPay to work with your EPOS System using encomPOS or ICR Touch.Received your MID and TID (Merchant ID and Terminal ID) You will normally have one MID but may have multiple TIDs. Please make sure you have these to hand. Installed your Chip and Pin Machine in Windows and made a note of which COM Port it has been assigned to. If you are using a USB machine, the Windows installer will inform you which virtual COM port has been assigned; if you are using a Serial machine, simply note which COM port you plugged the machine into. First of all: Before you start the installation process there are a few pre-requisites that you will need to assure are installed on your EPOS System. Windows Updates We recommend that you run Windows Update to make sure that your computer has all the latest Microsoft critical updates and service packs installed. Install MSXML4 For Windows XP Service Pack 2 you will need to install MSXML4 from the following locationhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=3144b72b-b4f2-46da-b4b6-c5d7485f2b42&displaylang=en For Windows XP with Service Pack 3 you will need to install MSXML4 using the link above and then also install http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7f6c0cb4-7a5e-4790-a7cf-9e139e6819c0&displaylang=en For Windows Vista or 7 you will need to install MSXML4 from the above links and also from the following location http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=15697 For other Operating Systems give us a call and we will guide you through installing MSXML4. Installing YesPay: Firstly you will need to download the YesPay EasyVTerminal installation program. This can be found in the downloads area of our forum, or direct from here: http://www.e-epos.com/forum/index.php?/files/category/16-card-processing-other-integration/ Run the YesPay EasyVTerminal Installation Program on the EPOS System you wish to process card payments with. The installation process is fairly straight forward, just accept the defaults for the installer and make sure you leave the installation folder as C:\YESEFT\ The installer will run for a minute or two before it completes. In My Computer, navigate to C:\, YESEFT folder, and Run EMBOSS-Setup.bat. When prompted enter 0 to use the default instance and press enter. When you are prompted, enter the Merchant ID and Terminal ID you have been given by YesPay. Your Merchant ID is NOT the Merchant Number of your bank merchant account- make sure you use the YesPay issued MID. When you've done this, press any key to exit the Emboss setup. Next, restart you're computer. This will ensure that the installation process completes smoothly. When your computer has rebooted, navigate back to the YESEFT folder and run YESEFTConfig. Login with: User ID: Administrator Password: admin12 Please note that the username and password are case sensitive. The following Configuration Box will pop up: In the General Tab of the Instance Properties select the model of 'PinPad' that you are using and select the COM Port that the pinpad is installed on. (You should have written this down when you installed the Pinpad in Windows.) In the Receipt Tab, ensure that you select 'Send Receipt to Socket' so that you can print EFT receipts from encomPOS and ICR Touch. Then exit the Configuration Mode by clicking OK. Navigate back to the YESEFT Folder and open up YESeftInterface.exe You should also add this to your startup/Start menu so that is starts automatically every time you turn on your EPOS System.
